The Brisbane Valley Sport Aviation Club’s monthly meetings are held in the club’s meeting rooms located at Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield on the first Saturday of the month starting at 10:00am. The meeting date will be changed if it coincides with a major public holiday.
A generous BBQ lunch concludes the meeting which allows members to mingle in an informal and relaxed aviation environment .
Visitors are most welcome to attend the monthly meeting.
The July meeting is devoted to the club’s mid-winter flying event, the Fun Fly Poker Run. In this game of pure chance, pilots and navigators enjoy a short flight to other airfields in the district collecting cards for their winning poker hand. The flight finishes at the BVSAC club rooms where a modest trophy is presented to the holder of the winning poker hand. The whole day is very informal and a great deal of flying fun!
The December meeting brings the club’s year to a festive close with a sumptuous, fully catered Christmas Lunch.
Please Note: If you wish to attend the BVSAC monthly meeting on a regular basis you are required to be a financial member of Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield (WBMA), or to have paid a Social Access Fee to attend club meetings and events at the airfield.
